Product Reviews

I'm apart of a Monthly Party Meet on Miracle Momas and thought I would review the items I have from the businesses I purchase from.

April:

Goddess Divine Jewelry:

This is the second time I purchased from Goddess Divine Jewelry since this business was featured in another group.  She always has FREE shipping, which is a nice plus.  Her jewelry is beautiful, great colors and a nice size inventory.

I ordered a pair of earrings and an anklet both for $12.78 including tax.

Misty Smokey Crystal Earrings: They didn't seem like they were gold in the picture, I don't wear gold. (next time I'll read more on it from the descriptions)  But they are very beautiful, the earrings would definitely look great with any outfit that you can wear with Jeans.  Or you can dress them up and wear them with a nice white / off white blouse or anything that can match with the pearls and the smokey pearl.

Northern Lights Anklet: Very beautiful colors, clear, silver, red, blue and orange.  This will match any of your summer outfits.  Unfortunately the anklet is way too big, I can fit it right under my calf muscle.  My husband can wear it on his ankle.  So I'm not sure where she gets her measurements for ankles for women.  If there was a way to shorten it, I would definitely wear it all of the time.

I'm sure its hard to make jewelry and make sure it fits everyone.  My hat goes off to her for doing all of this great work!  She has great specials and great customer service.  With my last months order, I have asked her to make me a custom hockey necklace, I haven't received it yet but I can't wait to see what she comes up with!  No hurry on that since hockey season doesn't start until July, so she has a few more months!!  :)

Homemade Gourmet with Glenda C:

This is the first time I bought from Homemade Gourmet.  I have been a fan with Tastefully Simple for so long, I didn't dare try anywhere else.  Now that Tastefully Simples prices are outrageous I can now try other companies and hopefully I can find something that doesn't cost me an arm and a leg.

I ordered Basic Bread Mix and Apple Crisp Mix.  Both for $15.75 with shipping, taxes and both mixes.  A little high for my taste until I saw the mixes.  Totally blows Tastefully Simple out of the water!  These mixes are huge.  Heavy buggers too!  Wow.

Apple Crisp: I already made the crisp and wow was it perfect!  I am very picky on my desserts since I make my own from scratch, so with me buying a mix is very out of character for me. I highly recommend this mix.  Oh and I recommend Granny Smith apples.  Very sweet and tart at the same time.  A small scoop of Ice Cream on top of the warm crisp.  Very yummy!!

Basic Bread Mix:  I haven't baked this yet but I'm sure if I was impressed with the crisp, I'm sure that I'll be impressed with the bread!  I can't wait!!

Now, the downside to these mixes is that they do not come with recipe's I had to dig out my old recipe for the crisp to find out how much butter to put in it and how many apples.  So its convenient to have the mixes but very inconvienent for someone who has no time to look up recipes to make their mix.

I recommend Homemade Gourmet to anyone that knows how to cook the individual mixes that they purchase.

Since I won't be wearing the jewelry.  I would love to send it to someone who wants it.  I'll sell them for $4.00 each, thats saving alot of money.  I can send you a PayPal invoice.
